Successful INDEX exhibition
DiloGroup would like to thank all customers and interested parties for visiting the DILO booth in Geneva. Compared to the last INDEX 2014, we registered an increase in visitors of about 50 %, among them the important international nonwovens producers in all application areas: hygiene and light weight nonwovens as well as technical textiles and nonwovens used in the field of geotextiles, filtration media and automotive. For nonwoven floor coverings there is still a big interest in complete DILO production lines.
On the occasion of the INDEX show DILO presented a video of the latest production line development HyperTex which was very well-received by producers of filtration media, roofing material and geotextiles. HyperTex combines a scrim fabric making machine with Hyperpunch needling technology. The HyperTex installation needles scrim and needlefelt together inline resulting in a multi-layer nonwoven sandwich characterized by two exterior needlefelts with a scrim reinforcement in the middle. This approach allows production speeds up to 40 m/min. Further possible savings in yarns or filaments can be achieved by online variation of mesh apertures. A big interest in HyperTex will be the basis for further discussions at the coming Techtextil exhibition in Frankfurt from May 9 - 12, 2017. The HyperTex installation can be demonstrated in the DILO textile research center in Eberbach.
"HyperTex" Installation for the Production of Reinforced Multi-layer Needlefelts
Numerous fields of application such as filter media, geotextiles, roofing material, floor coverings, other technical textiles and composites require needled nonwovens with high low-load resistance. This is generally achieved by using reinforcing meshs / grids. The DILO HyperTex installation with the "Turbotex" scrim fabric machine of Messrs. ontec automation GmbH produces a reinforcing scrim which is fed between two needlefelts and then needled together by a Hyperpunch needleloom.
The mesh apertures of this scrim can be varied up to 20 x 20 mm. Production speed is up to 40 m/min. The HyperTex installation in a working width of 2.5 m is ready for presentations and trials in DILO's Textile Research Centre in Eberbach, Germany.

DiloGroup at Domotex 2017
The international floor covering industry met at the Domotex fair in Hanover, Germany, during January. With more than 1400 exhibitors, this exhibition in one of the most important ones for the industry.
DiloGroup provided together with Messrs. Brückner Plant Technologies information about developments in machines and plants for the production of needlefelt for floor coverings and automotive applications.
The multiple uses for needlefelt in commercial as well as in household applications were very interesting for floor covering producers. The visitors informed themselves about the different design and patterning possibilities offered by DI-LOUR and DI-LOOP machines ranging from velour to ribcord and patterned top layers. Further applications for needlefelt on the floor are for example the secondary layer of tufted carpets or the use in artificial turf, door mats or sports surfaces. A great number of exhibitors used the opportunity for intense discussion about current and potential projects for machine investments.
Floor covering is still one of the important applications for needlefelt. In this sector, DiloGroup is very successful with its standard universal production lines. These are characterized by intense fibre preparation, fibre opening and blending for precise colours, cards and crosslayers for very high throughputs and a wide range of fibre fineness and staple length. The needling for consolidating felts in large working widths covers a wide weight range from lightweight to heavy weight floor coverings. In the meantime, DI-LOUR and DI-LOOP structuring and patterning machines are requested with high stroke frequencies, throughput speeds and large working widths up to 6.5 m.
DiloGroup would like to thank all visitors for their interest and the promising talks and looks forward to welcoming you at the INDEX (hall 1 / 2, booth 2010) in Geneva from April 4 - 7, 2017.

DiloGroup at Domotex 2016
As in the past, DiloGroup shared a booth with Brückner Plant Technologies, Leonberg, Germany, at the Domotex 2016 to inform about possible uses of needle felted products as floor coverings and in automotive applications.
Needle felted floor coverings are commonly used in office buildings as well as in private homes. Needle felts can also be found as non-visible components such as backing for tufted carpets. Further applications are synthetic turf, door mats and sport surfaces, automotive carpets and trim. Hence needle felts offer a variety of possible uses: DI-LOUR and DI-LOOP machines create different surface structures such as velour, ribbed or patterned top layers thus providing a wide range of design options.
DiloGroup would like to thank all visitors for the interest in our technology and for the interesting discussions.
DiloGroup at Inlegmasch-2016
The 16th International Fair for „Installations for the Production and Processing of Textiles“ Inlegmasch-2016 took place in the central exhibition centre „Expocentre“ in Moscow, Russia, from February 24 – 26, 2016.
This year 110 companies coming from 17 nations (Austria, Belgium, Great Britain, Germany, India, Iran, Spain, Italy, Canada, China, Netherland, Korea, Russia, France, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Japan) presented their latest developments on a floor space of 3000 m². DiloGroup as normal used the German Pavilion to take part and this involved 21 companies.
Although the last Inlegmasch was less than one year ago, Inlegmasch-2016 attracted a large number of visitors. One of the reasons for this immense interest may be the decline in textile imports into Russia. Many Russian nonwoven and textile producers now try to benefit from this situation and to fill in the gaps. This resulted in a great interest of Russian textile producers in German machines and engineering.
During the show, we had very interesting discussions about possible uses of DILO machines and production lines with customers and interested parties mainly from Russia, Belarus and Ukraine. One main focus was the processing of special fibres like glass, basalt and carbon as well as the production of nonwovens for many different applications such as geotextiles, filter, automotive and insulation products.
The exhibition showed once again that the technical and technological products offered by DiloGroup are excellent solutions for customers in Russia and the neighbouring nation.
